Skizo est né en 1973. Il découvre le mouvement Hip-Hop avec l’achat de « Spraycan Art » livre sur les graffeurs New-Yorkais. Il commence à graffer à Paris en 1987, il a 14 ans.

Fasciné par ce milieu artistique, Skizo oriente son travail sur des lettrages simples, lisibles et propres. Les sorties nocturnes, les peintures légales et illégales lui permettront de s’approprier la maîtrise de la bombe aérosol. 

Début 90, il rejoint le collectif CIA (Criminalz in Action). Ensemble, ils élaborent une stratégie pour recouvrir la banlieue parisienne et décident de privilégier leurs actions où leur travail sera le plus visible. Rapidement son pseudo apparaît un peu partout dans l’île-de-France sur le réseau ferroviaire, les autoroutes et bien d’autres supports et redéfini l’esthétique du milieu urbain qui devient son support favori. Cette démarche et sa précision feront en partie sa réputation. 

En 2012, il se lance dans une démarche plus artistique. D’abord sur toiles puis très rapidement sur des supports urbains métalliques. Mais ce sont ses œuvres sur des capots de voiture qui marquent la transition de Skizo depuis la rue vers le travail artistique.

Il réunit ces deux passions dans son travail en les déclinant également sur des panneaux de signalétiques et sur d’autres supports.

Skizo was born in 1973. He discovered the Hip-Hop movement with the purchase of "Spraycan Art", a book about New York graffiti artists. He started to graffiti in Paris in 1987, he was 14 years old.

Fascinated by this artistic environment, Skizo oriented his work on simple, legible and clean letterings. Night outings, legal and illegal paintings allowed him to master the aerosol can. 

At the beginning of the 90s, he joined the CIA (Criminalz in Action) collective. Together, they elaborate a strategy to cover the Parisian suburbs and decide to privilege their actions where their work will be the most visible. Quickly his pseudo appears everywhere in the Ile-de-France on the railroad network, the highways and many other supports and redefines the aesthetics of the urban environment which becomes his favorite support. This approach and his precision will partly make his reputation. 

In 2012, he launches into a more artistic approach. First on canvas and then very quickly on urban metal supports. But it is his works on car hoods that mark the transition of Skizo from the street to the artistic work.

He combines these two passions in his work by also declining them on signs and other supports.
